  1. AN ECOLOGICAL TRENSETTER: INDUSTRIAL HEMP Filter Your Stereotypes The Right Way

  2. PROMINENCE OF INDUSTRIAL HEMP • Once upon a time, industrial hemp was a prominent crop on the American landscape. • Industrial hemp has grown into a wider range of goods throughout time, including health foods, organic body care, clothes, building materials, biofuels, plastic composites, and much more. • Hemp-derived cellulose was marketed in the early twentieth century as an economical and renewable raw material for plastics. • Henry Ford even developed a prototype automobile using biocomposite materials, including agricultural fibre such as hemp. • This durable and renewable resource (one of the first cultivated plants known, with roots extending back to China's Neolithic Age) was polished for a variety of industrial purposes, including paper, textiles, and cordage.

  3. WHERE DOES HEMP STAND IN THE 21ST CENTURY? • Sustainable hemp seed, fibre, and oil are still utilised as raw materials in a wide range of goods by major corporations such as Ford Motors, Patagonia, and The Body Shop. • Not only can hemp be utilised for an astounding range of items, but it also has a significant environmental advantage. • Among the more notable characteristics are that hemp thrives in a wide range of temperatures and soil types, is inherently resistant to most pests, and grows quite densely, allowing it to outcompete most weeds. • Because of its low lignin concentration, hemp can be pulped with fewer chemicals than wood, making it a natural replacement for cotton and wood fibre. Its inherent radiance might eliminate the need for chlorine bleach.

  4. AFTEREFFECTS OF ORGANIC HEMP • In truth, industrial hemp and marijuana are separate strains of the Cannabis sativa plant; hemp has no recreational benefit. • Smoking excessive amounts of hemp flowers can cause a severe headache but not a high. • A hemp renaissance is gaining traction. In the United States, public opinion is beginning to shift. • Over the last several decades, a broad but more politically important and cohesive coalition of enterprises, farmers, nutritionists, activists, and green consumers has shown renewed interest in hemp.

  5. TOWARDS A BRIGHT FUTURE • Hemp has the potential to provide significant environmental and economic advantages if research and development efforts are concentrated and sustained. • Hemp is not a cure-all for our social, economic, and environmental ills; no one crop can. • However, as we move toward a more sustainable agriculture future, industrial hemp may help lead the way. • Renewable, fast-growing hemp may be used to replace numerous unsustainable items, such as non-organic cotton • In addition to supporting a change in federal policy on industrial hemp, each of us can help grow the hemp marketplace by purchasing hemp products. • To know more, visit www.Hemptology.co.uk or mail us at info@hemptology.co.uk
