But, you have to be a responsible traveler and know the do’s and dont’s of every country that you are going to visit. It is worth to spend some time doing a research to this country and know what are the things you need to do and what are not. If you are planning to visit Thailand, here are some tips on how you can have a safe Pattaya tour: 1.Carry your passports with you at all times. This may sound strange, but this is actually a legal requirement when you are visiting Pattaya. Keep in mind to bring your passport with you all the time, wherever you will go. Because you can be arrested if you fail to show your passport if an authority like a police ask for it. 2.Be very careful in crossing the streets. Street traffic rules in Pattaya is far different from other countries. You have to remind yourself to be extra careful when you are on the street of Thailand. Do not assume that you can go walk when the streetlight is in green. Be cautious to taxis because they suddenly stop or change direction if they want without giving a signal. A safety street tip is to hone your survival instinct. In this country, vehicles have more right of way in the street than pedestrians, so again, take extra precautions and practice your running skills. 3.Dress properly when entering temples. You have to search for information about the country that you are going to visit. And you have to know that Thailand is a Buddhist country, and images of Buddha in this place is sacred. When you are visiting Pattay’s temples, avoid wearing shorts. Search for the proper dress that you can wear inside their temples. You also need to take off your shoes when entering their hall of worship. Be a knowledgeable tourist! 4.Be respectful to Thai culture and beliefs. Like in a temple, it is also expected to remove your shoes when going inside a Thai house. It is one of the Thai cultures that you need to respect as a visitor to their country. You also have to know that Royal Family is important to them and they treat them with reverence. Do not talk about their King and Queen in a disrespectful way. 5.Choose to ride in a bus. As mentioned earlier, vehicles in Thailand have more rights than pedestrians. There is more right of way for a bigger vehicle in the street. That is why it is recommended that you a Bangkok to Pattaya bus for a hassle-free and safe commute. Driving your own private car can be dangerous since they have different traffic rules, so choose a bus instead. It is the best option. 6.Prevent walking home alone. Pattay is actually a safe place to visit, but if you are going to your hotel in the early hours coming from the party, make sure that you have companions with you. This is to prevent unwanted attention that you can get from people who have bad intentions. When people saw you as a drunk person, you can be an easy target for pickpockets. As you visit Thailand, you can see that most of the Thai people are polite. Take all the positive influence that you can get and enjoy your travel to Thailand. Have a safe tour!
