Flying is considered as the best way of travelling over long distances. It is also one of the safest and obviously the fastest ways to travel anywhere. But how safe it is for your health, we will find out. Though the regular cleaning and sanitization of the aeroplanes, there are many germs left which can cause serious illness. They can affect the immune system in many ways and if you are airsick sometimes it can make matter worse. An aeroplane is filled of spots containing germs. Even if you are healthy, sitting with a person with a mild cough can cause you respiratory problems and even make you sick.

According to the research, there are many ways in which you can protect yourself from germs and microbes while travelling. The best way is to keep yourself clean. The water for drinking in the planes are contaminated by bacteria, so it is better to buy a mineral water bottle. One of the worst parts of travelling in aeroplanes is the conditions of the restrooms. There are huge amount of faecal bacteria. Trying to avoid restroom while in the plane is the best way to keep yourself away from the bacteria. If there is a long distance flight, illness can spread at a drastic rate. Researchers have shown that if a person is suffering from flu in a long distance flight, the person sitting with the sick person has highly likely chances to get sick on the course of journey. Even the person sitting far away from the sick person can get sick due to the ventilation system in the aeroplanes. But there is nothing to be scared, with the help of few tips from the experts you can travel safe and sound to your loved ones without catching flu or any other viral disease. Make sure to keep these tips in mind while travelling in a plane next time.

Do not start a fight or anything, if you are stuck, keep a handkerchief with you in case of emergencies. This will help you avoiding germs and will make you fly heathy and safely. Say NO to the Restroom Unless it is an absolute emergency, stay away from the restrooms. It has the highest chances of making you sick. There is one toilet for about 75 people in a plane, so the germs will be waiting for you in the restroom. But if you have to go, remember to sanitize your hands after getting out. Stay away from Dirty places One of the most important things to keep in mind is to try to keep your hands away from the dirty places or the places which are touched most by the people. The seat back sacks are very precarious. There may be left over food or napkins. These seats are tough for the staff to sanitize so try to stay away from them. By keeping in check these few things and keeping a sanitizer with yourself can help you travel safe and healthy in this busy time of the year. Travel safe!
