Column Restoration • Removal of columns • Demolition of old wooden bases • Cleaning and repair of columns • Fabricate forms for new concrete bases • Painting of columns • Cleaning and rust proofing support columns • Pouring and finishing of new concrete bases • Repair and painting of capitals • Re-installation of columns • Patching of support attachments • Painting of column bases

Bases • Because the old bases were wood and rotted out it was determined to make the new bases out of concrete. • Alterations carpenters using special materials were able to create an extraordinary re-usable curved concrete form. • Outside masons then poured and finished the bases. • These new bases will be painted white when totally cured. • The new bases will last for the next 50 years
