Partnership Highlights • Principal Lee is a member of the COE Consortium • Assisted with Professional Day for CU student teachers • Regularly attends campus events • Principal intern from CU working at Faubion • Donation from CU resulted in Jr. Rose Parade transportation for Brazilian drummers

  4. Partnership Highlights • Keylah Frazier joined the Faubion Equity Team • 09/10 school year CU students painted teacher restrooms & blacktop • Sodexo annually caters Teacher Appreciation Week • Use of CU library for families and students • SMART Readers

  5. Concordia Teacher Corp Grant • Grant in partnership with Elon University • Targeted 13 third grade students at Faubion • 12 undergraduate and MAT students from CU • Weekly reading tutoring • Culminating event at A Children’s Place Bookstore

  6. CSI: Summer Academy 2011 • Faubion Science teacher – Melanie Ramsey • MAT graduate from CU – Evan Howells • Replicated DNA, solved CSI cases • 6 students, 2 weeks
