Invention: Rubik’s Cube • Each one of the Rubik’s cubes faces would be different colors at the start. • With 26 square components and 54 outer surfaces, the number of alignments is in the multi-millions. • With every turn most of the colors will be mixed and matched. • Erno Rubik had patented the Rubik’s Cube • There was a problem, at least two inventors had patented similar designs around that time. • Rubik’s Cube came out in 1974
