As a Scientifically & Professional based By multidisciplinary means For informing decision making regarding the introduction of effective innovations and the efficient use of resources in health care.”

HTAi Strategic Plan (2009-13) HTAi’s Core Values: Service:to all members, & full member involvement in Society’s work Quality:honest and open exchange of ideas and information to promote quality in HTA Collaboration:inclusiveness of all disciplines and sectors involved in development and use of HTA Professionalism and integrity:maintaining HTAi’s independence Transparency:in scientific work, decision-making, and funding Flexibility:responding to evolving needs of members and the international community

  4. Input from the HTAi Board (I):Premises • HTAi acts as a “meeting point” (doers/users; institutions/networks) • HTAi values its ongoing partnership with INAHTA. • Collaboration with INAHTA will continue to play an important role in this work

  5. Input (brainstorming) from the HTAi Board (II):Opportunities for increased collaboration • Increased role for INAHTA at HTAi Annual Meetings • Development of one or more content tracks • Specific slot for INAHTA “case studies” (eg. Succes, failures, etc) • More involvement in ISG (eg. INAHTA representative in all ISG?; developing a new co-chaired ISG for topics of mutual interest?) • Formal participation of INAHTA in HTAi’s regional networking activities and satellite meetings • Cooperative “parallel/virtual placed” initiatives (HTAi-INAHTA-Other Organisations): • Continued co-chairing of HTA Glossary Steering Committee • New proposals in the horizon (need more HTAi Board discussion)
