  1. Yellow Skin, Pain in Abdomen, You Might Need Gallbladder Surgery The food particles in the body are broken down by the stomach juices. During the process the food is partially digested and some leftovers are left. For proper digestion, the leftover food needs bile, a fluid collected in the gallbladder. At times the secretions collected in the gallbladder become erratic and are not sufficient quantity to complete the digestion. Poor gallbladder functioning is because the organ develops small stones called gallstones. These stones can cause a number of health problems, inflammation, soreness and tenderness. Improper working of the gallbladder due to swelling leads to acute unbearable pain in certain cases. At times like this, the gallbladder may have to be removed! Symptoms of gallbladder trouble: 1. Pain and agony in the abdomen 2. Indigestion 3. Nausea 4. Vomiting 5. Yellow skin or jaundice 6. Yellow eyes 7. Fever The woman population suffers from gallbladder trouble more than a man, especially if they are on the other side of forty, overweight and have kids. Either of these prerequisites along with a genetic predisposition may leave a person susceptible to abnormal functioning of the gallbladder. There is no way of preventing the stones from developing in the gallbladder so you can’t do much to prevent them from forming.

  2. Cholecystectomy surgery or gall bladder surgery in Milton Keynes is not an uncommon surgery. Earlier, a big incision or cut was made in the stomach region to remove the painful organ. The gallstones irritate the gallbladder and cause inflammation and pain. But now with the advancement of medical science, tiny incisions or cuts are made in the belly and with some specialised miniscule instruments a minimal invasive laparoscopic or keyhole surgery is done. The bile juice is produced in the liver and the gallbladder collects it to use it for digestion of undigested food matter. In case a complication arises in the gallbladder, then it can be bypassed through surgery without having any negative effects on the body. The digestion will take place as before, because the gallbladder can be bypassed through the surgical procedure and the liver will transport bile juice directly into the intestines. Gall bladder surgery at times becomes essential because of the size of the stones and the inflammation. You have an option to choose between open surgery and keyhole surgery offered by the surgeons. Why should we opt for the keyhole surgery? 1. The laparoscopic gallbladder surgery in milton Keynes means a shorter hospital stay 2. Lesser scars on the belly area 3. Much less pain post surgery 4. You will be able to start everyday activities and daily chores much earlier than normal A painless ultrasound test that uses sound waves to identify abnormalities, detects an inflammation or presence of stones in the gallbladder instantly. Many times jaundice develops and this is mostly a result of a blocked bile duct. The patient is not given any local anaesthetic before the procedure is scheduled. If further investigations are required then the doctor recommends a CT or HIDA scan.
