  3. Expectations • All performances are mandatory • Students in class with instruments • Practice and work toward competencies

  4. Grading • Based on the individual student • List of competencies • Interview at each quarter

  5. SmartMusic • Program to help students practice • Contains music we play in class • Demonstrate competencies from home • Demo and purchase at www.smartmusic.com

  6. Boosters • If you have a student in the Orchestra, you are part of the Booster group! • President, Cortina Baxter • Opportunity to serve on district music advocacy parent group • First meeting is 10/4 at 6PM at EHS
