  6. Configuring Xmingwith XLaunch You can choose any of the display modes available, this is just an example.

  7. Configuring Xmingwith XLaunch Change the ip-address and username to those which are used in your server!! (user accounts were done in first set of tasks)

  8. Configuring Xmingwith XLaunch Check that the saved file does have .xlaunch extension!

  9. Starting Xmingfor a config file Putty security alert should be shown on the first connection attempt to your server

  10. Xming runningwith open xterm console Now you can run any CLI or GUI application from the console!
