Definition of NVDA • A “battle option” and “type of unconventional warfare” involving ordinary people involved in collective acts of strategic stubbornness and defiance • (Maria Stephan) • A “technique of sociopolitical action for applying power in conflict without the use of violence” • (Gene Sharp)
