  2. Mission Statement SIUE wants their students to be healthy and informed. Therefore, our mission is to design a health program intending to coordinate and promote healthy strategies for students. We believe informing students with preventative methods and information will motivate them and eventually guide them to improve their health

  3. Target Population Residents of Prairie Hall Freshmen

  4. Needs Assessment • Administered at the desk at Prairie Hall • Results (50 total) • 30% answered that they had used caffeine every day for the last 30 days • 50% answered that they drink more than one caffeinated drink a day

  6. Goals Students will increase their knowledge of energy drinks Students will decrease and be aware of the amount of caffeine they consume Students will increase their knowledge on the effects of combining alcohol and caffeine

  17. What We Learned… Working With Housing: Plan ahead, keep communication, get approval early, Put up advertisements up early Working in 490/491: communicate with group, and meet at least twice a week outside of class
