  6. 3301-24-08 Professional Educator License Renewal – • Align IPDP to Educator Standards • Teacher, Principal, Superintendent, School Treasurer and School Business Manager • No longer required to obtain Master’s Degree by second renewal

  9. Master Teacher Program • MT is now considered one requirement for the pathway for an advanced level of licensure • National Board Certification is another pathway for an advanced level of licensure

  10. House Bill 1 • Changes to Master Teacher Program • Eliminates EMIS report • Form I deleted • Removes December timeline to complete process every year • Program aligns with new licensure structure effective 2011 • Program remains the same

  11. Master Teacher • Goals for Master Teacher Program • Clearly define a process and scoring guide to ensure consistency across the state • Build a pool of designated teachers for leadership opportunities

  15. Master Teacher Renewal • MT designation expires after 5 yrs. • Renewal process will be available Summer of 2012 • MT designation must be renewed to maintain Senior Professional or Lead Professional licenses
