Cork

Our program has 3 main objectives: • Language Skills:We aim to help international candidates to improve their English language knowledge and work related language skills; this should help them in their subsequent studies and professional life. • Professional Skills:The Candidate will have the opportunity to learn more about Irish business. They will gain practical work experience in their chosen career and gain confidence intheir ability to function in an English-speaking environment • Cultural Knowledge:The Candidate will get to know Irish people both at work and socially. The participants of these programs will have the chance to learn more about the Irish culture and the Irish way of life, sharing their customs and culture with the Irish people they meet. Work Placements: (Internship) • We match your qualifications to your placement. • We agree to a training plan with the sending organization and the host company. • We make supervisory visits to ensure that your objectives and those of the company are satisfactory for both parties. • We provide you with a work placement report and certificate when you complete your training. Agricultural and Farming Internships We have decade long relationships with over two hundred Irish farms and Agribusiness here in Ireland in wide ranging areas such as: small family-run mixed farms, larger farming conglomerates, feed / grain industry, Agri-Home placements, Dairy farms, Dairy businesses, Landscaping, Cattle Breeding, Equine Stables, Veterinary, Pig farms, Hen farms, Organic farming, Horticulture, and the Sheep Industry. We want our candidates go home with a comprehensive understanding of Irish farming and our agricultural way of life. We also expect that our host farmers will have learn from the candidates both agriculturally and culturally. The best time of the year to come to Ireland for farmers is from September to March but we provide placements year round. Student on Farming Internship

  11. Housing We work with wonderful Irish families who provide top quality, full- board housing. If you do not wish to stay with a host family we can find you other accommodations but staying with a host family is the most cost-effective way to experience Ireland. The best reason to stay with a host family is that when you are living with a host family you are constantly speaking English and your level will improve. Also host families include you in their activities (should you wish) which saves you additional transport costs . Student dining with a Host Family
