Materials • What you need: • Eggs • Textbooks for weight • Tarp or paper to prevent the eggs from ruining the floor
The Setup Step 1: Gather eggs and textbooks (weight) Step 2: Have one person hold egg to make sure that the weight remains on the axes of the egg Step 3: Pile weight on top of the eggs until they crack
Results As the table shows, when the weight of 16.2 pounds was applied, both eggs failed to hold the weight.
