Genetics of Asthma International Network (GAIN) • A multi-center nuclear family collection designed to study the genetics of asthma • 11 Centers in Europe, Australia, US and Barbados • Ascertained through an affected proband with physician’s diagnosis of asthma with at least one more sibling with asthma • 1018 families ascertained: DNA and phenotypic data available for ~4500 subjects
