Processional – Banquets If the head table guests are going to march in and be seated --- The OES side will march in first and go to the right side of the table except the Grand Worthy Matron The Masonic side will march in and go to the left side except the Grand Master At the door will be the Grand Matron and Grand Master to enter.

  10. Introducing the Grand Matron The Grand Matron will be presented first by saying Please stand to receive Our Grand Worthy Matron, Mrs. Gracie H. Drake, for the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star for the jurisdiction of Virginia, Prince Hall Affiliation. (Everyone is seated)

  11. Introducing the Grand Master Please stand to receive The honorable Shelton Riddick, the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge in and for the jurisdiction of Virginia. (Everyone is seated)

  12. Establishing Protocol – To the Most Worshipful Grand Master, the honorable Shelton Riddick, Grand Worthy Matron, Mrs. Gracie H. Drake, Grand Worthy Patron, Mr. Donnell Freeman, grand lodge officers present and past, grand chapter officers, present and past, sisters of the order, brothers of the craft, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls good evening.

  13. Establishing Protocol – Make sure the presider of the affair knows how to establish protocol. Once protocol has been established, it need not to be established again, and again and again. Please do not say, “Protocol having been established” Good evening! Just say, good evening and perform whatever task you have been requested to do.

  14. Final Remarks After the Grand Master gives his remarks, there should be no announcements, not one more thing. His remarks or his designee remarks are the final part of the program. ****** He will call for the benediction by the person listed on the program or a person of his choosing.
