  6. Your Assignment: • To write a position paper on a failed company and the role that corporate governance may have played in this company’s failure. • Include an annotated bibliography in APA format of at least 15 scholarly resources

Selecting A Company And Industry Personal interest: pick a sector you are interested in, e.g. financial services, energy and mining, telecommunications, high tech. retail, automotive, airlines, etc. Pick an example from your textbook and/or use Sites such as: http://www.bankruptcydata.com/researchcenter2.htm Do some preliminary research on your company; make sure it is appropriate for this assignment; check with Prof. Nixon.

  11. Doing The Research • Use the Library Catalogue to search for books on your company, the industry, and aspects of corporate governance. Books tend to give more of an overview on your topic. • Search Library Databases, e.g. Business Source Complete, ProQuest Business, and Google Scholar for more specific, focused research.
