  2. Je me présente (part 2) How can I improve my work? TO COPY IN YOUR BOOK! Key phrases for a C grade +: Past tense: Dans le passé….In the past…. Je suis né(e) I was born Quandj’étais plus jeune…. When I was younger J’étais … I used to be J’avais… I used to have Exemple: Je suis né à Maidstone le 12 octobre 1998 . I was born in Maidstone on the 12thOctober 1998. Quandj’étais plus jeune, j’avais les cheveux plus courts et j’étais plus petit. When I was younger I used to have shorter hair and I was a bit short.

I prefer……. / je préfèrerais… I would prefer Exemple: À l’avenir je vaisavoir les cheveux longs et raides. Je vaisêtreassez grand et je voudraisêtre beau. In the future I am going to have long and straight hair. I am going to be quite tall and I would like to be good looking. Aussi à l’avenir, je vais vivre à Ashford mais je préfèrerais vivre à Maidstone. Also in the future , I am going to live in Ashford but I would prefer to live in Maidstone.
