  4. The Title I Funding Process The USDE applies the current Title I formula to the federal appropriation which determines each district’s allocation. USDE Poverty Statistics Poverty Statistics Census Start Here Congress appropriates $ In the Federal Budget for Title I BREAK CYCLE OF POVERTY FLDOE Eligible Title I schools are allocated Title I funds based on FRPL. Funds must be used to achieve School Improvement goals. FLDOE receives Title I funds from USDE and creates an application process for districts to receive funds. District determines scope of program based on available funds and evaluation data and then applies for funds.
