PKA Ca2/RIa2 (Inactive PKA holoenzyme, type I alpha) 15875 Gaither Drive Gaithersburg, MD 20877 FAX. 301-560-4919 TEL. 301-330-5966 Toll Free. 1-866-918-6812 Email: info@signagenlabs.com Web: www.signagenlabs.com Cat # SL100409 Store at -20 0C This product is for laboratory research ONLY and not for diagnostic use Description: Inactive holoenzyme consisting of one dimeric regulatory subunit type I alpha and two monomeric catalytic subunits (cAMP-free). Holo enzyme can be activated by adding the second messenger cAMP (Activation constant about 100nM) releasing two monomeric catalytic subunits. The product is suitable for analysing PKA type I agonists (cAMP analogs) or antagonists. Product Components: cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase, Ca2/RIa2, is recombinantly expressed in E.coli and purified using several classical chromatographic purification steps. The enzyme is supplied in a buffer containing 25 mM potassium phosphate (pH 6.5), 5 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 5 mM EDTA, 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol. The purity is >95% (SDS-PAGE). 2006 SignaGen Laboratories Storage: Store the cAMP-Dependent Protein Kinase at -20 0C, where it is stable for at least six months from date of purchase. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Store at 4 C if thawed and if entire vial will be used within two weeks.
