  4. LO1: Explain what is meant by “a business” (all) What is a business? • An organisation that is set up to provide goods or services to customers. • Q: who might the customers be for: • A sweet shop • A coach company • Tyre manufacturer

  5. LO2: Identify 2 reasons why someone might want to start a business (all) and explain (some) Why start a business? (business groups)

LO3: Assess if I have the qualities to be an entrepreneur (all) Extension work Could you be an Entrepreneur? • Complete the self assessment task to see if you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur • Dyson/Cadbury: Do the 3 questions at the top of the page. • BMW/Apple: only do Q2 and textbook pg10 pick an entrepreneur and explain why you think they set up in business and what qualities you think they might have
