  2. Systems overview • Indicate which one objective is being attempted • Describe selection rationale • Basic design of overall system of CanSat • Use CAD/paper design [BONUS MARKS FOR CAD MODELS]

  3. Electrical subsystems • Mention all the basic electrical components you will use • Try to include sensors (Pressure & Temperature sensor, GPS sensor, Camera, Accelerometer). Bonus points for finding exact sensor from market, use Google. • Selection Rationale for sensors • How will you design sensor to calculate battery voltage data • Communication Radio modules + Micro-controller selection • Give ideas what else can be used (for cansat retrieval, e.g. buzzer) • Bonus points for showing calculation of Power budget and link budget

  4. Mechanical Design • Key trade issues related to mechanical layout and component selection • Structural material selection(s) • Egg protection system trade studies and selection

  5. Descent control mechanism • Summary of container DCS (Descent control system) strategy trade studies and selection • Include: • Color selection • Shock force survival • DCS connections • Preflight review testability
