  3. This course is designed for those wishing to work as a Security guard or Door Supervisor in pubs, clubs, supermarkets, or retail industry. The Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security qualification is mandatory for anyone who wants to work as a door supervisor in the UK.

  4. The qualification comprises 4 compulsory units: • Unit 1 - Working within the Private Security Industry • Unit 2 - Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry • Unit 3 - Conflict Management within the Private Security Industry • Unit 4 - Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry

  5. If you want to work in the security industry as a Door Supervisor, Security Guard or CCTV Operator, you will need to obtain an SIA Licence. To attain an SIA Licence, you will need to complete an SIA Licence Security Course. Once you successfully complete the course, you are eligible to work as a Security guard or Door Supervisor and be able to apply for an SIA Licence.
