Our Strategic Operating Plan is inclusive of all aspects of facilities management. • Accumulated deferred maintenance • Facilities Capability and Assessment Program (FCAP) • Construction in the 2006-2011 timeframe eliminated deferred maintenance and code compliance deficiencies as reflected below: • Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center ………………………….….…$10,607,835 • Ann Stuart Science Complex………………………………………………….…...…..$6,200,000 • T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences – Dallas Center……....….$1,633,616 • Periodically, FMC uses Facilities Condition Assessments to assist in the evaluation and effectiveness of our deferred maintenance program. Calendar years 2004 and 2012 were our most recent efforts.

  3. In 2012 we reported to the Board that: • Sixty (60) building on Denton campus were included in the assessment. • Of those, approximately 80% were audited. • Various categories of that work was in progress at that time: • Old Main Street Paving • Campus Infrastructure and Drainage • Stoddard Hall Interior Renovation • Some work proposed for approval by the Board on that day: • Fire Code Mandates • Chiller Capacity Upgrade • MCL 9th Floor Renovation • We also advised that, if every single item in the audit was funded we would need approximately $51,700,000.

  4. Report Components Audited: • Environmental Health and Safety • Roof Systems • Fire Code Mandates • HVAC • Electrical • Accessibility • Elevators • Architectural Building Envelope Integrity
