A player may take legal representation into a judiciary hearing. However the Judiciary may suspend such a hearing until it retains legal representation on its own behalf. “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”

On Field Violence To be trialed in the Under 13 – Under 17 Ages (NSW Junior Leagues) 4.1 One “Strike” and Your Out! If found guilty – Minimum 1 week suspension. 4.2 “Strike” three and your gone! If found guilty – Minimum 12 month suspension “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”

  5. 2010 NSWRL Junior League Association Tough Love in League….Curbing Violence in Our Game On Field Violence 4.3 – The time out rule: A severe “Melee” Erupts 1. Referee calls and signals “Time Out” 2. The Ground Manager brings both coaches onto the field. 3. Teams lectured by coaches at opposite ends of the field. 4. Any “Send Off’s” are executed (under 4.1 or other). 5. Match Officials and the Ground Manager decide if, and when play resumes. 6. Repeat severe “melee” = the match being abandoned. “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”

  6. 2011 NSWRL Junior League Association Tough Love in League….Curbing Violence in Our Game On Field Violence 4.4 Penalties for abandoned games are at the discretion of local Leagues, with an emphasis on No replays and No competition points. 4.5Two abandoned games = gone for the season. 4.6 Run on to the field from the team bench area is an instant dismissal & minimum 6 week suspension (if guilty). “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”

  7. 2011 NSWRL Junior League Association Tough Love in League….Curbing Violence in Our Game Abuse of Match Officials 5.1 Players or Officials found guilty of touching a match official in an “aggressive or inappropriate” manner will be disqualified from the game for a minimum period of 12 months. 5.2 Players or Officials who verbally abuse or intimidate a match official will automatically be dismissed from the field and face judiciary for further judgment. “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”

  8. 2011 NSWRL Junior League Association Tough Love in League….Curbing Violence in Our Game Spectators and Penalties 6.1 Spectators who enter the field of play with intent ,will automatically be banned from attending any Junior League fixture for a minimum 12 months, and will be liable to further penalties under the ARL Code of Conduct. 6.2 Breaching a disqualification will see the team and the club that the person is associated with liable for fines and lose of competition points. “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”

  9. 2011 NSWRL Junior League Association Tough Love in League….Curbing Violence in Our Game Coaches, Trainers and Managers 7.1 If a trainer, coach or manager touches an opposing player during a “melee” or other incident, an automatic minimum six week suspension will apply. “A Fresh Start – Rugby League United as One”
