Summary: Requirement Changes May 15, 2009 Changes • 2 old technology exams removed • 13 new exams added • 9 Specialization/competencies impacted What this means for you • In the case of added exams • Partners may take a new exam as soon as the exam is live in the market, even if it is prior to the release date • Partners that do take and pass an exam prior to the mid May update, will immediately gain the competency/specialization once the update has been implemented • In the case of dropped exams • After the mid-May update a partner will no longer gain admittance to that competency/specialization by passing the dropped exam • After the release in mid May 2009, existing partners who are already qualified into impacted competencies by passing a dropped exam will have 1 year, plus their anniversary date, to comply with new requirements before losing the competency (See appendix for more details)

3. Systems Management System Management Solutions specialization partners must employ or contract with at least two Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) who have each passed the advanced certifications Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) on Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Database Administrator. In addition, each of the qualifying MCPs must pass at least one two of the exams listed here. Active Directory To qualify, your organization must employ or contract with two selected Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) who have achieved the advanced certifications: MCSE, MCSD, or MCDBA on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000, MCITP: Database Administrator or MCITP: Enterprise Administrator.
