  2. BASIC PROBLEMS IN DAMS Algae Formations EcoBalance Evaporation

  3. ABOUT ALGAE CYANOBACTERIA FOOD CHAIN BALANCE DISTORTION STRUCTURES Structurally, they are divided into two large groups, eukaryotic (advanced cell type) and prokaryotic (simple cell type). Algae are primer producers living in the water environment. Thanks to the pigments in their construction, they convert carbon dioxide and water into carbohydrates with the effect of light, thus increasing the nutrient value of the water and the dissolved oxygen (DO) ratio. As a result they form the first ring of their own food chain. Blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) are distinguished from other algae in that they have no obvious cell nuclei and distribution of pigments in their structure and their prokaryotic cell characteristics. They are observed in different forms from single-celled and filamentous forms to complexly developed individuals in terms of external appearance. As a natural consequence of the excessive increase exceeding a certain level, the environmental equilibrium is distorted and this improvement is called eutrophication. Algae and bacteria activity increases turbidity and prevents the light from passing to the lower parts of the water. The oxygen dip sections gain a limiting feature, which can result in death for living beings in the bentic area.

  4. ALGAE EFFECTS ECOLOGICAL DEGRADATION EVAPORATION INCREASE QUALIFICATION DROP TREATMENT COSTS EQUIPMENT COSTS COSTLY PROJECTS

  5. EXISTING ALGAE TREATMENT METHODS VENTILATION ULTRASONIC COVERING CHEMICALS • High Cost • Temporary Partial Solution • Hazardous Compounds • Environmental Damage • Loss Of Health • Reprocessing • Energy Losses • Permanent Damages • High Costs • Narrow Scope Solution • Chemical Harms • Costly Renewal • Organism Damage • Economic Loss • Incompatible Compound • Hazardous Compounds • Environmental Threats • High Costs • Medium Area Solution • Cavitation Risk • Costly Maintenance • Organism Damage • Economic Losses • Operating Costs • Pollution Maintenance • Evaporation • High Cost • Narrow Comprehensive Solution • Voltage Hazard • Costly Maintenance • Live Damage • Economic Losses • Equipment Costs • Energy Consumption • Workarounds

  6. IMBALANCES IN WATER ECO SYSTEM ORGANISMS RAINS CHEMICALS ALGAES When they consume carbon dioxide, they cause high turbidity and oxygen consumption due to their primary food chain formation in proportion to their reproductive capacities Due to the degradation of the water ecosystem depending on the chemicals used, imbalances in the parametric levels of the water occur Decrease in seasonal precipitation will cause reductions in oxygen uptake in the process water and equilibrium degradation The increase in bacterial levels, which is the basis of the toxicity process and the increase of the immobilized water, increases the eco-balance degradation and toxicity

  7. CURRENT ECOLOGICAL BALANCE LEVEL UPGRADE SOLUTIONS VENTILATION TREATMENT STRUCTURES ALGAE TREATMENT Disposing of algae in various ways or reducing as much as possible Use of high-cost ventilation equipment (aerators, mixers, etc.) Methods of increasing the oxygen contact in the treatment process. High building costs

  8. EVAPORATION LOSSES ALG BLOOM HEAT INCREASE LOW RAINFALL Decrease in seasonal rainfall and increase in water surface temperature resulting in high levels of evaporation on shore and surfaces. Algae bloom is the result of increased turbidity and the formation of dense surface barriers, so that the sunlight is absorbed and can not be reflected back to increase evaporation Due to seasonal droughts and global heat effect, surface and shallow open water areas increase evaporation

  9. CURRENT EVAPORATION PROBLEM SOLUTIONS COVERING COATING WITH SPHERES BIOFILM COATING Covering the water surface with a biofilm layer: costly chemical ingredients provide a partial solution. It may become harmful compounds to health and environment. Because it is torn by the wind, it causes continuous maintenance cost. Coating of the water surface with shrouds (styrofoam, PP lining, etc.): Has high costs and has environmental safety effects. The service life is short. It is irreversible. Coating the surface of the water with the sphere: a solution that creates a constant cost and is applied in small reservoirs. The materials they contain give rise to dangerous compounds over time.

  10. WHAT MIGHT BE THE SOLUTION TITLES FOR THE PROBLEMS? • Increasing Rainfall • Providing Cooling To Reduce Water Evaporation Heat • Creation Of Systems To Prevent Wind Flow • Lowering The Nutrient Level To Prevent Algae From Surviving • Settling Down The Algae To Prevent The Nutrient Chain Process And Provide For Death • Raising The Ecosystem Balance Level With These Factors

  11. OUR ENVIRONMENTAL OBSERVATIONS! • In times of non-rainfall, algae growth is increasing, covering the surface of the algae, along with the precipitation, the algae are falling on the bottom and decaying with natural selection. • Although the parametric levels in water ecology are indirectly deteriorated by dense algae formation, the oxygen level at the beginning of precipitation and, depending on the oxygen level in the water, is increasing. • Evaporation is increasing due to the surface coverage of the mosses and primary food chain haze, as well as by preventing the reflection of the sun's rays. • Rainy surface sucks heat and combines with vapor particles in the air to reduce losses. • Rainfall reduces wind intensity by reducing the wind corridor and reducing evaporation. • Precipitation, which disturbs the direct effect of the atmospheric pressure, prevents evaporation.

  12. WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE SOLUTION? • A system that will rain on the ground: energy must be supplied from natural sources, permanent investment is ensured, supplies will be at minimum level. Maintenance operating costs will be minimal. • The tracking system that will archive the rainfall effects: will have a combined single sensor package. pH, ORP, TDS, resistivity, salinity, SSG, depth, temperature, ammonium and ammonia, chloride, fluoride, nitrate, calcium, turbidity, chlorophyll, blue green algae, rhodamine, fluorescein, refined lube oil should be in the construction to contain sensors selectable by the number of ports of the device, but it should not be required to be present in every system. In terms of cost reduction monitoring system and essential parameters should be added according to the results of monitoring according to needs in each reservoir.

  14. DASSY™WHAT IS THE DAM SPRINKLER SYSTEM? • Dassy ™ Is An Artificial Sprinkler System. • Dassy ™ Is Powered By Solar Energy • Dassy ™ Is A Pressure Drop System • Dassy ™ Has A Fully Automatic Work Schedule • Dassy ™ Operates Monitoring Sensor Package With Current Energy • So; Dassy ™ Is Raining; Settles The Algae On The Bottom; Reduces Water Surface Temperature; Increases The Eco-balance Level; The Wind Corrupts The Corridor; Prevent Evaporation; Integrated With The Sensor Package For Monitoring The Data; Energy Is Self-contained

  15. DASSY™ - DAM SPRINKLER SYSTEMWHAT DOES IT DO? • Artificially implements artificial site rain system • The surface bursts through the bubbles in the moss deposits, allowing the moss to fall to the bottom and die naturally as in natural selection • It increases the level of dissolved oxygen (DO) by providing water droplets to contact with oxygen in the air and adjusts the ORP and ph levels accordingly. Provides water ecology • Allows warm water from the surface to contact with the air to cool and reduce the level of evaporation • Reduces the tendency to evaporate by affecting and disturbing airflow and pressure in the dripping corridor • When it sees natural rain systems and other effects, it automatically stops and stops the system with the existing sensor structure, preventing unnecessary operation. • It can be integrated with the sensor package that enables remote monitoring of water qualification.
