  1. Senior Footwear Designer - Salary – £3000 Potential Route GCSE Textiles A Level Textiles Design @ University Potential Route GCSE Hospitality NVQ Level 2 in Food and Drink Service, or Hospitality Service. Working as part of the Women’s Accessories design team, you will identify key trends/items as well as deliver newness and innovation on a continual basis into our own brand and Designer footwear ranges. This is a multi brand role where you will cover young fashion, core and casual brands. Working in predominately leather, synthetic and fabrics. As well as excellent technical knowledge, you will have experience of designing occasion, day, work and weekend casual footwear product. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 8 years footwear design experience seeking a role that includes hands on design, trend research and the opportunity to work within a team environment. Naturally, you will be working very closely with the buying team at every stage to deliver the sample process from design concept to confirmation. An established background in Footwear design is crucial. A specialist footwear design degree is preferred although candidates with strong industry experience will be considered. Ideally your design experience will be gained in both retail and supplier environments and any branded experience will also be of benefit. You will have knowledge of working with suppliers in the Far East and Europe. The right candidate should have the ability to understand and deliver clear & differing handwritings across the many own bought brands we design and develop. As well as technical, manufacturing and production experience, you will be a strong team player with the ability to work confidently on your own, managing and prioritising your workload and also give clear direction and mentoring more junior team members. You should have excellent presenting, persuasion and influencing skills.
