Procter & Gamble Internships Customer Business Development (CBD)/Sales Internship Seeking current sophomore and junior students interested in sales; all majors considered; Interns will work on teams assigned to achieve superior in-store presence; complete business analyses, and participate in account presentations. Key Skills: Strong entrepreneurial flair, leadership skills, excellent communication skills, problem solving skills; students must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as part of the job. Locations: Must to be open to locations across US Consumer & Market Knowledge (CMK) Internship Seeking current juniors; Majors: Business, liberal arts and engineering (any function); Intern s will learn to drive strategy through consumer expertise. Internship Overview • 10-12 week summer internship • Aligns with Required INROADS Leadership Development Commitments • Must be willing to relocate for all opportunities (during internship and upon graduation) • Locations will vary. Locations for the internship are at the corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, or at one of the U.S. plants, R&D technical centers or customer business center locations. • P&G pays for travel to move; Some locations pays a percentage or all of the housing costs

Application Process: Application Step 1: Application • Complete application at www.experiencepg.com • Remember to select “INROADS” as your referral source and indicate Cincinnati, OH as one of your preferred locations. • When you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email and details regarding the next step. • If you successfully pass the application process, you will be asked to complete the online assessment.

Application Process: Assessment Step 2: Online Assessment • TAKE YOUR TIME; TAKE THE ASSESSMENTS SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! • Online assessment measures skills and accomplishments that generally do not emerge from interviews. • Assessments help determine if it is equally beneficial for the candidate to continue through the hiring process. Recommended Preparation for the Assessment: • P&G Sample Reasoning Test (available on P&G website) • Sample GMAT type questions under timed conditions

Application Process: Assessment The online assessment is composed of two parts: • Success Drivers Assessment: Assesses your background, experiences, interests, and work-related attitudes and measures your compatibility against P&G competencies for defining successful job performance. • Reasoning Screen: The reasoning screen measures your cognitive ability. This is important because the nature of the work is complex and continually changing.

Application Process: Assessment Success Drivers Assessment: • A series of short questions that ask you to respond to a particular situation or problem in the workplace. • Some questions ask you to evaluate your academic standing and leadership qualities. • Take as much time as you need to complete ( most applicants take 20-30 minutes to complete) • You will have 24/7 access to take the assessment.

Application Process: Assessment Reasoning Screen: • 15 questions that test your figural reasoning ability • Test is strictly timed – you are allowed 2 minutes & 30 seconds to answer each question • Take this test in an environment free of distractions. The screen will take approximately 30 minutes • You will have 24/7 access to take the reasoning screen If regretted, you may re-apply after 12 months

Technique • Context, Action, Results • Focuses on how you have ACTIVELY applied skills • Recall in detail what you did, thought, and felt in key situations • Opportunity to learn more about P&G

  23. Application Process: Initial Interview Step 3: Use the C.A.R. Technique • Context When asked for an example of a certain experience in the past, start your answer by stating the context of the situation or task you recall. Then give the interviewer a concise description of the situation encountered and state the action that appeared necessary. • Action Go on to explain what you actually did to deal with the situation. At this stage, it is important to be specific and detailed, so describe the precise steps or strategies you applied to resolve the issue. • Results Lastly, explain the impact of your action and the final outcome achieved. This is the best time to emphasize the positive benefits of your action to the person or organization concerned.

Application Process: Final Interview Step 4: Final Interview Paper and Pencil Reasoning Test • Test measures your reasoning skills using numerical, logic-based & figure reasoning type questions. • 65 minutes , 40 multiple-choice questions. • Three sections: (1) Numerical Reasoning, (2) Logic-based Reasoning, (3) Figural Reasoning questions. • Calculator and extra paper are provided.
