Thoughts on Future Use • The main power of EDMS is realised when working on large collaborative documents (minimal machine specification, etc) • Can also be a persistent archive for presentations, conference proceedings, etc. • Offers better classification and relationship tools than a web page, but lacks immediacy. • Cannot replace group web page (http://www.ippp.dur.ac.uk/LCsources)
