  3. Our Heart. WMU's heart is to love God and share His love with all the world. Teaches about missions and missionaries Provides opportunities to be involved Fosters missional living and spiritual growth Encourages focused prayer Promotes sacrificial giving for missions

  4. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17 That the world through Him . might be saved . . .

  5. WMU NC ministers to people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, ages and situations. Inmates and their children Military wives Immigrants Professional women College students and young women Ministers’ wives Deaf Blind Illiterate Homeless Sick Underprivileged

  6. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The truly is plentiful, but the l are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”Matthew 9:36-38 compassion harvest laborers

  7. WMU NC supports North Carolina missionaries by . . . Praying for them Providing resources for them Ministering to their children attending college Promoting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Global Missions Offering

Acteens, Youth on Mission & Missions Interchange for Students • Mission Friends for Preschoolers • Girls in Action & Children in Action for Children • Women on Mission, MyMissionFulfilled, Sisters Who Care & Adults on Mission for Adults • Families on Mission & Generation M for Intergenerational Groups WMU NC Organizations . . . WMU NC also . . . • Baptist Nursing Fellowship • Christian Women’s Job Corps/Christian Men’s Job Corps • Ministers’ Spouses Support Groups • Hispanic Women’s Fellowship Offers scholarships and hosts retreats for young women feeling a call to missions or ministry Provides missions resources for almost 3,000 churches in North Carolina, trains missions leaders and coordinates events to inspire and equip Baptists across the state to participate in God’s plan for the nations.

  9. Our Hope. WMU's hope for the future is to continue "to challenge, prepare and equip Christian believers to be radically involved in the fulfillment of the Great Commission."
