Specific Objectives • Defining and updating generic and specific competences relevant to the industrial sector by adopting the “Tuning” methodology, especially for the engineering industry • Generic and specific competences for students’ practical experiences as part of the curriculum; • Promoting synergies between teaching – learning – research in the Universities, • to integrate research results in teaching programmes • to stimulate innovation capacity. SIGs • Generic and specific competences in the subjects relevant to the industrial sector (curriculum), using the “Tuning” methodology; • Generic and specific competences for students’ practical experience; • Synergies between teaching and research • to facilitate integration the results of research in teaching: upgraded syllabus, new training aids etc • Enhancing Innovation, Research and Technological Transfer • Professional insertion Université de l’ été juillet 2006, Université Paris 7: ‘Learning by doing’

I); • Generic and specific competences for student practical stages • book “Tuning Industrial Educational Structures in Europe” vol. Outputs (2) • Workshop “Teaching – Research Synergies – European Models”, and book on “Guidelines and best practices in Europe Teaching – Research synergies”; • Web Database for innovation, research and technological transfer; • Web Database with graduates per specialisations within EUI-Net universities and Web Database of available jobs within EUI-Net per qualification required and sectors. Outputs (3) • The network - the legal framework; • EUI-Net dissemination website, EUI-Net biannual International Conference, CD-ROM for dissemination purposes, including reports and relevant documents; • Network to be extended and formal links with other relevant European/International bodies, i.e. new universities’ databases and new industrial partners’ databases; • Project management, quality assurance, progress and final reports.
