  2. What it is? • Deforestation is a growing global problem with far reaching environmental and economic consequences , including some that may not be fully understood until it is too late to prevent them.

  3. What are the causes? • The main cause of deforestation is agriculture and cattle reaching whereby people clear rainforests to make ways for agricultures and cattle. Other cause are logging, whereby the forests are destroyed for the wood and building of hydroelectric power stations.

  4. What are the causes Pie Graph.

  5. What are the negative impacts on the environment from deforestation? • The most dramatic impact is a loss of habitat for millions for species. Seventy percent of earth’s land animals and plants live in forests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes.

  6. What are possible solutions to fix Deforestation? • A more workable solution is to carefully manage forest resources by eliminating clear cutting to make sure that forest environments remain intact. The cutting that does occur should balanced by the planting of enough young trees to replace the older ones felled . In any given forest the number of new tree plantations is growing each year, but their total still equal a tiny fraction of the earths forested lands.

  7. Continued # 5 • Cycle agricultures- Is used for cultivation till the soil loses its fertility, often which its abandoned. • Crop Agriculture- is utilized to grow seasonal crops, one after the other. This prevents cutting down of trees to get new land for cultivation. Crop rotation also increase the productivity of soil. • Hydroponics- Is a special farming technique of growth plants in water (without soil) containing dissolved nutrients.
