Czech Republic: Jan Becher chooses Xerox color solid ink devices Benefits Solution Background & Challenge • Xerox solid ink devices allow the customer to produce high quality color documents in large amounts and also provides environmental benefits such as less packaging waste • Increased productivity, especially in color printing • Customer printing costs were reduced by 15% • Jan Becher-Karlovarská Becherovka has been a producer and distributor of spirits and wines for the past 200 years. It is owned by Pernod-Ricard, the world‘s second largest liquor and wine producer • The company was looking for a provider that would analysetheir print environment, be able to improve it, optimize costs and manage their printing • The Xerox survey that was conducted showed that there was a requirement for morecolour printing, for example for logosandcolor highlighting • Jan Becher chose Xerox for a 5 year contract • The optimized equipment fleet consists of three Xerox ColorQubemultifunctional solid ink color printers and five Hewlett Packard devices instead of previously used twenty HP machines Less devices and more color printing brings costs reductions
