  1. Effects of physical environmental change on Zebrafish and the Paradise fish’s breeding Speaker: 21723Ching-Po Huang Teacher:???

  2. Outline • Objectives • Materials • Experiments • Discussion • Acknowledgement

  3. Objective Experiments are designed to measure the number of the embryos hatched after the physical environment for breeding (that is, the aquarium wall) change. The study will help us determine whether the breeding of the embryos is affected by the breeding environment.

  4. Materials • Zebrafish (Danio. rerio) • Paradise fish (Macropodus.opercularis) • Aquarium • Plasticscorrugated board • Glass • Acrylic • Sandpaper • Power supply • Aluminumfoil

  5. Experiment 1: Colors of the walls affected the number of hatched fish

  6. The effects of the wall color on the abutting ---Result

  7. Experiment 2: the change of materials affect the number of hatched fish

  8. The effects of the wall materials on the abutting ---Result

  9. Experiment 3: The textures of the walls affect the hatching process (mesh number: 60#, 100#, 150# and 220#) ※The result will be continued.

  10. ※The result will be continued.

  11. Discussion Questions remain whether the differences in the number of hatched fish is significant enough for me to claim that changes have an effect on the breeding pattern of the fish.

  12. Acknowledgement
