The Vikings. By Miriam Sarzynska. Cool Facts. Dublin was founded by Vikings in the 9 th century. Around the year 1000 the worlds largest slave market was in Dublin run by Vikings. Only one Viking helmet was found, in a grave in south Norway; it had no horns. The Vikings ate a lot of meat.

  2. Cool Facts • Dublin was founded by Vikings in the 9th century. • Around the year 1000 the worlds largest slave market was in Dublin run by Vikings. • Only one Viking helmet was found, in a grave in south Norway; it had no horns.

  3. The Vikings ate a lot of meat. Like…. Whale meat. Deer meat. Seals. Fish was a very important part of their diet. They also ate fruits and vegetables. Food

  4. Here are a list of Viking armour: Seax.(a large knife) Shield. Spear. Chainmail skirt or suit. Bows. Helmet. Armour

  5. Viking jewellery was made of metal. They made the jewellery lots of shapes and sizes like we do today. Jewellery

  6. When a Viking child was born it was left outside and if it was alive the next day the parents would keep them. The Viking girls stayed at home and helped with chores. The Viking boys would go help their fathers. Viking Children
