  2. Our Plans • The 59 acre golf course should be turned into a park, animal/wildlife preserve, a recreation center, and condominiums. The animals that will be in the animal/wildlife preserve are the red foxes, red tail hawks, groundhogs, deer, and skunks. In the recreation center we will add a pool, baseball field, activities that kids can participate in, and a small movie theater. So that children can watch movies on movie night. We decided to make facilities that kids, parents, and everyone could enjoy. If you want to relax and enjoy yourself this is a good place to come. You can have fun in the sun, and play all day. This is what we want to turn the golf course into.

  3. Creating the Chart of Items • My group and I conducted research on the Internet to find the dimensions of items we wanted to use in our scale drawing. We then created a chart that showed the original dimensions and the scaled dimensions of each object. Since the piece of land was so large, we used a scale factor of 1/1000. Lastly we began drawing the items in our final project. On following slides, you will see our chart and a picture of our final project.
