Magnets attract. Magnets can be found in lots of places in our home. On a fridge door. They keep the door closed. Where else can you find magnets?. If we sprinkle some iron filings on a magnet (which is under some paper) we can see a magnetic field .

A magnetic field looks like this: (Rauta) The area of magnetic energy around a magnet is called a magnet field. The stronger a magnet the further its magnetic field reaches

  4. Just like the North and South pole, magnets too have North and South poles On a magnet if the two poles attract each other, it is a North and South pole. If they repel then two of the same poles are facing each other!
