  • NOT ALWAYS HELPFUL OR NECESSARY IN A GOVERNMENT ENVIROMENT.

  • IT OFTEN CREATES PROBLEMS THAT WERE NEVER ANTICIPATED MUCHLESS PLANNED FOR:

  • CLOUD COMPUTING: AGAIN A GREAT EXAMPLE OF TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION THAT CAUSES MORE PROBLEMS THAN IT IS FIXING RIGHT NOW.

  • BYOD: NOT THE SILVER BULLET IT IS ADVERTIZED TO BE. FORTUNE 100 / 1000 COMPANIES THAT RAN TO EMBRACE THIS NEW PARIDIME ARE NOW ROLLING BACK AND RE-ISSUING DEVICES TO THEIR EMPLOYEES.

  • WHAT THEY FOUND WAS WHILE THEY DID REALIZE THE PROJECTED SAVINGS THAT SHIFT PROMISED

  • THE SAVINGS AND THEN SOME WERE EATEN UP BY THE BACK END COSTS OF SECURING AND MANAGING THE WIDE VARIETY OF DEVICES.

  • NOT TO MENTION THE PERSONAL PROBLEMS AS THE TECHNOLOGY WASN’T QUITE WHAT / WHERE IT NEEDED TO BE. WIPE MEANT FULL-WIPE THE WHOLE DEVICE.

  • INNOVATION CONTAINERIZED DEPLOYMENT.
