  3. Awareness Weekend • A “heads-up” that Stewardship renewal time is coming. • It’s time to reflect, pray and plan for the sharing of Time and Talent in all aspects of life this year. Supported by: Bulletin Inserts, Bulletin and Pulpit Announcements, General Intercessions, Homilies, Lay Witness.

  4. Just AfterAwareness Weekend... • Parish Wide Mailing - Letter and Spiritual Brochure reinforcing what was heard and read at Mass. • Could also include an invitation to Gifts Celebration.

  5. Gifts Celebration Weekend • Shows gratitude for the many gifts God has given us. • Publicly thanks people for sharing their gifts with others. • Makes known to ALL parishioners how gifts are shared in the parish community. • Makes connections between giftedness and the Sunday Liturgy. AND...

  6. Inspires others to recognize, use and share their gifts at home, work, community and parish! • Part of an Annual Renewal Process for Time and Talent(that ultimately leads to Commitment Weekend). Supported by: Bulletin Inserts, Bulletin and Pulpit Announcements, General Intercessions, Homilies, Lay Witness and of course,THE CELEBRATION!

  7. Gifts Celebrationis NOT... • NOT a “Thank You” Party Exclusively for Ministers (make party separate). • NOT a Recruitment Vehicle for New Ministers. • NOT a Replacement for Annual Renewal of Commitment. • NOT an Unplanned Happening. • NOT only limited to a Time and Talent Fair.

  26. Follow-Up Weekend • Those who did not commit last week may do so now. Supported by: Bulletin and Pulpit Announcements, General Intercessions, Homilies, In-Pew Completion and Lay Witness.

  27. Beyond Follow-Up • Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!! (A MUST or it may cost you 7 years or more!) • Data Management • Interviews, Matching, Placement,Training, Supervision, Coaching, Mentoring!

  28. The “In Between” Continue using the language of Stewardship in ALL Communications throughout the parish. - Homilies - Announcements - Bulletin - Letters/Mailings - Newsletter - Bulletin Boards - Web Site - Phone Calls - General Intercessions - Parish Events EVERYTHING!
