Entry to Courses No previous qualifications or experience – demonstrate personal readiness Relevant first qualification and/or demonstrable readiness to study - equivalent APL Psychology Degree (2:1 preferred) GBR as specified by BPS Integrative Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy MSc/DCPsych BPS accredited (DCPsych from 2006) Counselling courses (BACP Accredited) Diploma and optional BA (Hons) Psychotherapy Diploma/MSc TA PCA Person Centred 2 entry levels TA Gestalt Integrative Three taught years Plus dissertation module (approx one year) Written and oral exams Entry possible into MSc 1 (ie2 taught years of training) with PCA BA/Diploma counselling Four taught years + Dissertation Module (approx 1 year): Written and oral exam Introductory Postgraduate Year (if no experience of psych. therapies) Four taught years Case Study, Clinical Oral Exam and Practitioner Research Project in final year Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy (DCPsych) BPS Chartered Counselling Psychologist Metanoia Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy UKCP Registration Metanoia Diploma in Counselling Plus optional BA (Hons) awarded by Middlesex University Metanoia Diploma in Psychotherapy plus optional MSc in Psychotherapy awarded by Middlesex University UKCP registration as psychotherapist Eligibilty for EAP For TA graduates: CTA (EATA)

PERSON-CENTRED - COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY TRAINING Entry: No previous qualification or experience necessary Diploma – yr 1 Fundamentals / Certificate Year 10 2 day units over ten months [Entry requirements –’readiness to study at post grad level’] PSYCHOTHERAPY DIPLOMA YEAR 2: Ten 2-day units over ten months plus a 2 day weekend at end of year Person Centred COUNSELLING Diploma and BA Year 2 Ten 2-day units over ten months MSc Year 1: Ten 2-day units over ten months plus a 2 day residential at the end of year Person Centred Diploma and BA Year 3 Ten 2-day units over ten months On the way award: Diploma in Person Centred Counselling On completion of case study and viva MSc Year 2:Ten 2-day units over ten months plus a 2 day residential at the end of year Person Centred Dissertation Module – Case Study and Viva Examination Exit Award: Post Grad. Diploma in Person Centred Studies Graduation Award of MetanoiaDiploma in Person Centred Counselling BA (Hons) Person Centred Counselling ‘Dissertation Module’: Case Study /Viva Module Small Scale Research /investigation Project + viva Graduation ; MetanoiaDip Psychotherapy and UKCP Registration (on completion of case study and viva) Potential for EAP registration ; MSc in Person Centred Psychotherapy (on completion of research)
