  3. P-Card What is a P-Card? It is a Visa Credit Card issued by the Bank of America. The credit card is issued in the name of the employee that will be using the card. It is a fast and flexible purchasing tool.

  4. P-Card Who Should Use the P-Card? An SBBC employee that has been approved by their principal, department head or Designee1. Bookkeeper Budgetkeeper 1Hereafter Collectively referred to as Designee.

  5. P-Card Why should Schools and Departments use a P-Card? Faster and easier way to obtain Supplies. REQ or PO is not Required. Reduces the turnaround time on the delivery of goods and services.

  6. P-Card What can be purchased on a P-Card? Supplies and Services that cost less than $1,000 per line item. Examples - Postage, subscriptions, Film Processing, printed materials, etc.

  7. P-Card Who can approve purchases with a P-Card? A SBBC Principal, department head or designee (i.e., designee).

  8. P-Card How do we sign up? Complete an Application. Have Designee sign the Application. Send the Application to Purchasing Attn: Carmelo Guerra – P-Card Administrator

  12. P-Card How long should it take to receive your card? You should receive your card in 2-3 weeks from the time Purchasing receives your signed Application.
