  12. Navajo County Public Works Transportation Study • Sub-Regional Study Completed in late 2007 • Pinetop-Lakeside • Show Low • Snowflake • Taylor • Vernon • Concho • Now Expanding study to include remainder of County, Winslow and Holbrook with ADOT support.

Navajo County Public Works Transportation Study • Summary: • Study Completed July 2007 – Provides Traffic Impact Projected to 2030 • Additional Study Areas to be Incorporated (Holbrook, Heber/Overgaard, Winslow) • Began additional study January 23, 2008 • Coordination with Statewide Study • Interim Projection to 2015

Navajo County Public Works Flood Control • Preliminary DFIRM received Sep 2007 • Digital GIS Format • Mapping Process - 27 miles of levees • Ruby Wash • Winslow • Holbrook • Met with public in November • Asked for additional time for review • County Flood Control Audit – Feb 2007 • Rating Improvement from Level 9 to 8 • 10% Discount in Flood Insurance Rates • Revised Subdivision and Drainage Policy • Requires 100-year, 2-hour Detention • Complies with Applicable State Standards

Navajo County Public Works Current Projects • On-Call Engineering Services, 2007 - Retained four firms – kept them for 08-09 • On-Call Soils Testing Services, 2007 - retained one firm – may expand in 09 • Obed Road Bridge final Design - under contract (Transystems) • Selected one firm to perform Mountain View ID and one small ID (North Whistle Stop Loop) • Selected one firm to do Hilltop Lane ID • Two new IDs in formation stage
