LCLS-II Timeline Compatible with Operations

The meeting goal is to discuss undulator options for LCLS-II, with adjustable gap, adjustable polarization, possibly two parallel avenues of pursuit (low & high risk?), and <5-yr lead time. We would like to build a prototype undulator and phase shifter this year. AGENDA :

  1. The meeting goal is to discuss undulator options for LCLS-II, with adjustable gap, adjustable polarization, possibly two parallel avenues of pursuit (low & high risk?), and <5-yr lead time. • We would like to build a prototype undulator and phase shifter this year. • AGENDA: • Introduction/Meeting Agenda (P. Emma, 10 min) • LCLS-II Layout and Plans (Z. Huang, 25 min) • LCLS-II FEL and Undulator Parameter Studies (H.-D. Nuhn, 25 min) • Open Discussion & Questions (all, 30 min) • Coffee break (20 min) • Time for more discussion, if necessary (0-60 min)
