  2. For this writing assignment, you will interview a human services worker and write a report about the agency and the worker. During the writing process, you are encouragedto collaborate twice with a tutor in the Writing Lab. 1st visit: At least one week before the report is due, take your typed draft to the Writing Lab; your tutor will review the draft and make suggestions for revision. 2nd visit: At least 7 days after your first visit, take your typed revision to the Lab; the same tutor will review your revision and might make some more suggestions for further revision. Note: Before you have completed your typed draft, you can come to the Writing Lab for preliminary visits to get clarification of directions, to see a sample report, etc. STLCC-FV Writing Lab The Agency Report and the Writing Lab

The agency reports involves a series of steps: Select agency (where you haven’t worked or volunteered) Arrange interview Research agency Interview human services worker Write and type draft At least one week before due date (or earlier), go to Writing Lab with typed draft (1st visit).   12. How long will each visit last? 1st visit: allow at least 45-60 minutes. 2nd visit: all at least 20-30 minutes. After the tutor signs off on my second visit, am I done? Not necessarily. Even after two visits, you may still need to make some, possibly even significant, revisions. Does meeting these requirements guarantee an A?
