Good Morning ! • Take out Measuring Calories Data Table • Carbon Footprint Project due tomorrow! • Also make sure Act. 60-63 data tables and analysis questions are completed. • I will be coming around to check journals during the activity. • extra credit Due Thursday • nutrition labels of foods-circle with the calories • Kleenex Box, clorox Wipes or Sanitizer-Limit 2 (5 points each)

Part B:The Effects of Different Metals • Answer the 5 questions from Step #7 • What materials are you going to use? • Think about what metals will you use, you already used magnesium and copper. • How will you use them? Where will you place them on the wet cell? • Add the metals to the data table • Raise your hand once complete to approve to begin!

Part C: Other Effects • Create data table-make sure you have a title • Complete Step #11 What happens to the direction the shaft turns when you reverse the connections? • Use zinc & copper- record what happens • What happens to the motor when you remove both metal strips from the electrolyte? • Record observation • Create a conclusion of what happened in the experiment
