  2. Introduction • To tell you honestly, changing a tire is a pretty simple task, if you are prepared and if you know how to do it. • Do you want to be able to change a tire without anyone's help? • Yes, then we are ready to help you too provided you are willing to put in a little effort.

  6. STEPS FOR CHANGING YOUR TIRE Remove your spare and take out the tools you need. Position flares or reflective triangles behind your vehicle for safety, if you are changing your flat tire on the road. To keep your vehicle secure while it's on Jack, place wheel wedges against the tires opposite of the flat. Use the flat end of the lug wrench to pull the wheel cover or hubcap off.

  7. • Now place your jack beneath your car and raise it up to connect with your car's frame. • Stretch the jack until your tire is at least 6 inches off the ground • Now simply unscrew and remove the lug nuts. • Line up the spare tire with the exposed lug nuts and position it in place. • Now again put the lug nuts and tighten them. • Once the car is back on the ground, you can tighten the lug nuts.

  8. • Now slowly lower the jack until the tire touches the ground. • Now, tighten the lug nuts with the wrench to secure them in place. • Again place the hubcap or wheel cover, if you have one. • At last, again check the pressure on your spare.
