Connecting Neighborhoods for Enhanced Mobility and Development

This update focuses on the station area neighborhoods and emphasizes connectivity, local character, economic development, and equity. We have listened to the community's feedback and are working towards creating connected and walkable places with improved bus and bike facilities. The geographic family of station areas includes Hamilton Road, Friday Center, and Woodmont.

Next Steps • Return May / June 2017 to engage development-focused Advisory Boards and Town Council • Connect policy (e.g., affordable housing, parking) to station-area concept plans • Coordinate with NCDOT, City of Durham, UNC, GoTriangle and other Partners on connectivity planning • Recommend future zoning tools for station areas
