  2. Brief Description • It has a white head and it is not bald. It is an old English word for white. • Eagles are very powerful birds. There are different kinds of eagles. • Eagles belong to a group called raptors. Raptors are birds that hunt for their food.

  3. The EAGLES climate • Bald eagles live only in North America. • They often live near water. • Eagle's build their nest, or aeries, where there is plenty of food to eat and open space to hunt.

  4. Eagle’s Beak • Its beak helps it tear apart its prey. • It helps it warn its predators. • It has a sharp point.

  5. Eagle’s Claws • Its claws help it grip it’s prey. • Its claws are very sharp. • Baled eagles have four toes, three in front and one in the back.

  6. Where they live • They live in Canada. • They live in the United States. • They only live in parts of North America.

  7. There wings • The wings make a M shape. • The wings help it soar throw and glides in the air. • Bald eagles use their wings to help them move through water as they hunt for fish.
